Took the plunge and made the trip to Xcaret. Everyone has so highly recommended it. It was nice and had a lot of variety, ranging from saving animals to swimming down an underground river. We chose not to participate in the water sports today. But we saw a lot of history and lots of creatures.
It was highly recommended that we stay for the evening show, but we were both so worn out that we decided to take the early bus home. We were glad because I don't think we could have tolerated the crowds, waiting for buses at 9:00 (home at 11:00). We did break down and buy the video.
Overall a good experience, but most we had seen in other places be it other ruins (Tulum, Chichen Itza) or Sea World, etc.
Did take over 100 pictures, so will have to prioritize. Can't possibly load them all!
This was hilarious. The guide walked with a sign to stay out of the way while she rang a bell. the flamingos just followed!
Shortly after this, Dale's phone rang!!...Couldn't believe it, but it was Jeremy....good to hear your voice!

I also took pictures of approximately 25-30 iguanas, but didn't think anyone would be interested in that!
