Day 1- Feb. 22, 2014

Whoa......5:10 flights are early....this means you must be at the airport before 4:00. Oh well....off we went. 
Tried to standby for the 9:30 flight, but that didn't work out. So we sat in the Minneapolis airport from 6:00- 11:30!!....argh....way too long. 



We did leave Minneapolis on time, but the flight was longer than usual, over 4 hours. When we got in, we had to sit on the tarmac for a short while. Then they taxied us to a complete different terminal, and they had to bus us. We had to sit in the bus and wait while whatever was going on. Then immigration was very busy. Then a wait for the van to fill and over to the other terminal for pickup again. I thought we'd never get to the resort. But we did....around 6:30 p.m. Just in time to see the pirate ship!

Welcome home, indeed!

We went straight to supper and back to the room to unpack and hit the sack.
Long day and my legs are terribly swollen.
